Noni Bags' Camellia Progress

NONICamellia.jpg

The camellia has been surprisingly fun and fast knitting. The only downside is the fact that I'll probably run out of yarn before I finish, which means it's definitely a 2-skein flower. However, I do think it will be worth it when it's assembled, felted and embellishing the bag.

I LOVE felted bags. I can tell that this one is going to be really snazzy! I can't wait to see it finished.

How pretty. I love that shade of red.

Hey! I just finished the mini carpet bag. I love it, but I'm starting to wish I'd made the medium bag. I used the more distinct option for the bottom edge and I lined it with a heavy printed linen. I'm looking forward to seeing your bag when it's done!

Good to know - I'm glad I got two skeins of red!

Can't wait to see the finished project!

Do you really need two skeins of Cascade 220 to make ONE camellia, or is that for several? Doesn't look like it needs that much even though I know you double the yarn. I'm about to order a bunch of yarn and would love tips for how much you got to make that bag.

Could you help me? I'm knitting this bag and just finished the bottom of the bag, but don't understand the part about picking up stitches.

I just don't know how to do this part while the bottom of the bag is on my circular needles.

could you please email me?

THANKS!
