Nail Color - Field Notes

After shopping for nail color and cosmetics a couple of times in the last few weeks and trying to decide if I already had something similar at home, I finally put together this little notebook to carry with me that includes swatches of all the colors I own in nail polish, lipstick, eye liner and eyeshadows. I almost hate to admit how many different shades of brown eyeshadow I own, or that I realized that I’ve been wearing the same colors since I was 16.

Oh this is a wonderful idea. Where do you buy your nail polishes? I have noticed that the drugstores do not have as many color choices anymore as they used to.

Thank you, Susanne! I’ve come across nail polishes in unexpected places, but Target, surprisingly, has an excellent selection. Drugstore brands are great – many of them are as good as expensive salon brands. Most of mine, however, were purchased at Sally Beauty Supply. If you like having a lot of color choices, it’s a great place to go.
