I decided to try my CHANEL Paradoxal nail polish when Lisa Eldridge blogged it. Hers photographed more purple than mine but I think the nature of this color is that it looks different depending on the lighting. Had I not cut my nails, I wouldn’t have attempted this color – it’s too much for longer nails.
And I’m also using my new mini lotion bar:
The lotion bars smell great and I love using it before knitting.
Tomorrow – actual knitting content!

Pretty!
I saw the lotion at the shop but didn’t get any yet. Next time.

The other day, I noticed that they were getting kind of low on their supply!

Oh, the coincidences – a fellow Texan, yarnie, booklover, and makeup fanatic! I love your photos, they’re so clear and crisp. Your shots of Paradoxal are among the best I’ve seen. I discovered Lisa Eldrige’s site last night; I’m looking forward to looking at her videos.
do you use Paperbackswap.com? Members swap books for free, you only pay postage when you send a book and earn a credit. You use one of your credits when you request a book, the sender pays for postage. The site gives you a free credit to start when you join. I keep a lot of my books, but it’s a great way to get rid of the ones you no longer want.

Thank you, Ava – I didn’t know you were a Texan!
I don’t use Paperbackswap.com but I’ll look into it! I actually use my Kindle now rather than purchasing paperbacks. I’m in the process of releasing a few paperbacks through Goodreads though (I think it’s probably similar to Paperbackswap though).

I lived in El Paso from the age of 13 until I went to grad school. Mom is still there, so I go back regulary. I will check out Goodreads.
