Lizard Ridge : 9/24ths

Lizard Ridge : 9/24ths

Here we go – today’s Lizard Ridge progress photo. The two that weren’t in the previous photo are the square in the top middle and the one in the bottom right – it’s amazing what a little bit of pink and red can do to brighten things up. If I can finish three more by the end of the month, I’ve met my goal.

WOW, they look stunning. How many times did you swap them around until you settled on this arrangement? I just finished #9 today too and laid them out to see how they’ll look. I agree, a little pink and red do give it that extra kick. Good luck with reaching your goal — I’m sure you can do it!

Thank you! Since I knew that it wasn’t going to be the final arrangement, I just placed them this way for the photo.

Thank you, Maryse — it’s getting to be more fun with each square. As I finish a square, the momentum builds. That’s a nice surprise.

Thank you, Lolly! I enjoy each square — they feel like wonderful mini-projects rather than parts of a whole afghan :-)
